Empowering youth through art & advocacy. EST 2024.
Hue 4 Youth is a student run not-for-profit organization that empowers youth artists and focuses on the intersection of art, culture, and social justice. Hue 4 Youth has a mission of turning art & passion into tangible change that affects our communities.
Art has many definitions – whether it’s a skill acquired through years of practice or a creative outlet. Most importantly, it’s a voice to share stories, lives, and passions. At Hue, we explore the intersection between art and social advocacy and the transformative nature of art. Diving into the multifaceted spectrum of life and perspectives, we shine a light on the themes that shape our world—culture, history, and struggles.

WHAT DO WE DO AT HUE?
Hue 4 Youth empowers artists and activists alike by combining both through art activism. Here’s how we do it:
Webinars, workshops, and contests: Hue engages young people with art activism in an innovative and fun way, focusing how art makes an impact on communities locally and nationally.
Art magazines, blogs, and galleries: Hue involves young artists and invites them to share their personal stories and ideas on how art & activism matters to them, publishing them and giving the opportunity to have their work featured online and in-person.
Art petitions and events: Hue combines art with activism by creating petitions, posters, and designs that aid advocacy movements, engaging with issues that matter most.
