Meet the Team
Who are we?
Who are we?
Grace is the CEO of Hue magazine and an NJ-based artist, working in all different mediums of art and dabbling in publishing. She founded Hue 4 Youth to focus on her passion of art, social activism and increasing accessibility for youth. Her interests include visual arts, healthcare, and public & international policy. When she’s not found nose deep in her artwork, you can find her baking at her homecafe, filming on her camera, or playing volleyball.
Palak is the COO at Hue and currently a 16 year old Year 12 student. She’s grown up in the vibrant multicultural hub of Dubai and has multiple foreign ambitions. Her hobbies include the culinary arts, reading and spending time with her friends — the biggest one currently being pursuing her law career at Cambridge University. She aids this by working on her A levels and actively engaging in extracurriculars that concern the law and social awareness, one of them being Hue4Youth Magazine. Being a psychology student, she’s a big advocate for mental health, and by studying politics it has only fueled her desire to raise awareness about global situations and take action against them.
Francesca is a member of the Logistics Team at Hue. Based in New York City, she is an 18-year-old junior at The Beekman School and currently serves as a Youth Ambassador for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where she works on gender justice and public education campaigns. Francesca is passionate about the intersections of storytelling, social change, and advocacy. A nationally recognized writer, photographer, and public speaker, she uses creative platforms to explore issues related to justice, voice, and power. Outside of her work, she enjoys wandering New York with a camera in hand, writing poetry, and spending time with her loved ones. She hopes to pursue a future in law, politics, and gender equity.
Marketing & Outreach Team
Satvika is a part of the Marketing and Outreach Team at Hue and is currently a 16 year old student in India. She has spent most of her life abroad, studying and living amongst various different cultures and cities. She engages herself in activities related to international relations, foreign law, history and computer science/AI. Being a strong advocate of human rights, she loves to engage in a discussion with anyone about various issues in todays world. Her hobbies include vigorous debates, writing stories, designing and talking to quite literally everyone around her. Despite being in her senior year (class 12) she still confidently moves toward her goal of studying IR at Brown University and exploring various hobbies along the way.
Hue's Editorial Board
Reya is an article writer at Hue Magazine, where she blends her passion for art, politics, and history to champion creative expression as a tool for change. She has been drawing since she was seven and advocating for social issues since twelve, using both art and activism to challenge perspectives. Now a Year 12 student, she is determined to pursue a career in human rights law, exploring the connections between justice, history, and creative storytelling. In her free time she can usually be found immersed in historical fiction and crime novels, always drawn to stories that uncover hidden truths, or doing something creative like embroidery or painting.
Lead Editor
M.E.V. Pigatto is a Brazilian author who loves to engage in all types of art media, especially writing, but is always open to trying something new. Her personal hobbies include reading sci-fi or fantasy novels with dystopian elements and societal critiques, sewing or mending her clothes/textile products, and listening to ABBA or Mother Mother. She is interested in reading and writing innovative essays, articles and stories that think critically and provide new perspectives in an accessible way. Her dream career would be to become a literary agent, publisher or other active roles within the publishing industry as she loves to surround herself with people's creativity and the product of it.
